Travel Goals

"If you were never able to visit London again, what would you want to see and do on this trip?" Dr. Jones asked us at a pre-trip meeting.

Here's what I want to experience while in London:

• The Stonehenge
• The Lakes District
• Bath
• The Globe Theater
• 221B Baker Street (I'm a big Sherlock Holmes fan - I love the books!)
• Oxford
• Westminster Abbey
• Blackwell's Books (I've been told it's a must-see for a book lover!)
• Foyle's Books (Online reviews seem passionately sided with either Foyle's or Blackwell's. They're on the same street so I might as well stop into both!)
• Ride the London Eye (Kind of expensive for a 30-minute ride, but it would be cool!) 
• Meet my friend Julia Byers! (http://juliathewritergirl.com) She and I have been virtual friends for several years. It started on the Scholastic writing forums and we keep in touch through various forms of social media.  We live far apart, but we will both be in London at the same time!
