Hey everyone! I am changing the address of my blog. I downloaded the Blogger app so I could get used to blogging from my tablet before I leave, and I was really disappointed with the software! I expected that a big company like Google would have a better app for their bloggers. You can't add pictures or new pages or even change the formatting of the text (like font, etc. on blog posts). It's so lame!
So, I am switching to Wordpress. Their mobile app is amazing~!
Here's the new address: http://smooretravels.wordpress.com/
This way, I'll actually have control over my blog when I need it, and I can add pictures to my posts! Kind of important on a blog about travel!

Rough Itinerary!
Only 10 more days 'til I'm hitting the road - er, airplane! We also have our rough itinerary! Since I am anti-creeper, I won't say when we're going to be in each place, but here's a list of some of the things we'll be doing and seeing:
Also, for those who may be interested, I found a PBS documentary on Netflix called "Secrets of the Tower of London". It was pretty interesting. For instance, did you know they keep 8 ravens on the grounds at all times (with a full-time Raven Keeper). This is because of a superstition that if the ravens ever leave the Tower, it will crumble to the ground and Britain will fall. So weird - and pretty cool!
- Bath
- Cambridge, Bury St. Edmunds
- Canterbury Cathedral
- Chalfont St. Giles (Milton's cottage)
- Dickens' London Tour
- Dover Castle
- Greenwich
- Globe Theater tour (and seeing Julius Caesar while we're there)
- Hampton Court Palace
- Lakes District tour
- Oxford and Christchurch College (where John Locke was a professor!)
- Salisbury Cathedral
- Stonehenge
- Stratford-on-Avon (and Henry IV part I matinee while we're there)
- Thames River Cruise
- Tower of London
- Westminster Abbey
- Windsor Castle
