My Courses

As we prepare for the trip, and while we are traveling around London and the surrounding area, I will be taking two courses: 

• The Political Philosophy of John Lock with Dr. Jones
  (English culture, ideology, and society / how the American Government and English Government are related.)

  • John Stuart Mill: On Liberty
  • Thomas Jefferson: Autobiography of Thomas Jefferson, Declaration of Independence, A summary View of the Rights of British America
   
• England: Country and Metropolis with Dr. Dransfield(It's all about reading English lit, seeing England first hand, and getting acquainted with English Character and the essence of England.)

• Shakespeare: King Lear, Julius Caesar, Antony and Cleopatra
• John Milton: Aeropagitica, selected poems
• Andrew Marvell: The Complete Poems

• Jane Austen: Persuasion, another novel of your choice
• William Wordsworth: Selected Poems (Penguin ed.)
